Joystick Releases Dwell E.P. November 14!
Bad Time Records does it again! Mike Sosinski (Bad Time Records label owner & Kill Lincoln vocalist) began working with
New Orleans based Ska Punks JOYSTICK to record and release thier new upcoming E.P. 'Dwell' avaialble November 14th. Joystick has earned a reputation as one of the most electric, high energy, and creative bands in the modern ska scene... their new EP “Dwell” shows exactly why. Their first new music since their 2021 LP “I Can’t Take It Anymore” was worth the wait, as it blends elements of speedy hardcore with quick danceable ska, all as a backbone to singer Pual “Duck” Tucker’s deeply personal and reflective lyrics. In these 4 songs Duck battles with the aftermath of addiction and recovery, and how it feels to reflect back on one’s former self in light of fresh beginnings. Any fan of the band or the 2021 LP will be extremely happy with this natural extension of those songs... and anyone new to the band will be immediately sucked into the Joystick universe, one of the most vitally important bands building the current ska community.
