'ON AIR' Always Moving Forward

 Additions, Updates, & Information

The last two weeks I have taken some time to take a step back for a moment, focus on my mentality, LIFE, my goals - personal and business, and how to daily execute these positive additions. One of those objectives is to always be moving forward. If you are always moving forward you are always progressing and improving.With that said, i've decided to make some changes, some adaptations to the station.

Monday August 01 Racketeer Radio KFQX will again be updating our daily scheduled programming, to better serve our plan and ideas for the future and what we plan to become. In a world full of content, we here at Racketeer Radio KFQX want to bring you an informative, inspiring,  experience while listening to our station anytime and everytime you tune in. We have planned a daily schedule full of great programs, focusing on something radio has stopped doing, PLAYING MUSIC! Racketeer Radio KFQX has not removed any programs, we have just rearranged a few of our old time radio programs, moved them to the weekends and opened up more air time each and every day to bring you the  music you want to hear! 

   Along with the movement of some programs, we have also added a couple programs within the last  week or so. 23 mins of Ska - is just that a weekly episonic program featuring, yes, 23 mins of straight up, classics and the newest Ska from around the world.  Airing back to back episodes each week on Racketeer Radio KFQX ,Thursdays beginning at 1pm PST with a rewind episode and a brand new episode immediately following. 

   If you havent noticed in the last couple of weeks we have added two full hours of programming from our catalog of Jump Rhythm & Blues, Doo Wop, Rocksteady, Raggae, Ska (along with  2 Tone, Third Wave & Ska Punk) in a program we like to call 'Shake-a-leg' where we invite you to get up and cut the rug! 

 Our late night set up has changed as well. We have pushed back our nightly line up an hour, with the Jack Benny program now beginning at 12am/Midnight PST, followed by The Abbott and Costello Show now at 12:30am PST. Lux Radio Theatre on Racketeer Radio KFQX has also moved from previously being aired at 5pm PST to now airing at 1am PST, again to make room for more music. In the near future, we do plan to roll out these Old Time Radio Programs, possibly in podcast format, this is something we are still looking into and decided what would be best all around. (You input would be appreciated)  

  One program coming to Racketeer Radio KFQX in the mornings, beginning August 01 2022, that I am excited to re-air again is Earl Nightingale: The Direct Line. Airing Monday-Friday 6:30 am PST to start your day off right with some motivational, amazing, wise words, coming from Earl Nightingale to inspire change, progress and positivity . Something that has helped me and keeps me accountable each day, in hopes that it may do the same for you. Tired of the mainstream news sources that lives off the ‘if it bleeds it reads’ mentality?  If you want to hear positive, uplifting daily news tune in, Monday - Friday at 9am PST for The Daily Good w. Peter Flahiff 

   Racketeer Radio.com News Daily? Well, we will see about that. I do have the goal of updating and posting on RacketeerRadio.com way more frequently at least two times a week, from recommendations to upcoming events to Artist/Band/mMusic industry News to fun 'blogs' and more. I have always been against reviews, so there won't be any 'Reviews' at this time. I believe music is not made to be reviewed. Music is an art not made for everyone, but made for the artists themselves and for others (the listeners) to grasp, apply and utilize it in their own life (however that may be).
