Januaray 27 2022 brings a shock in the music industry as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, call it the end of the band. They made this statement on their website:
"After decades of brotherhood, touring the world and making great records together we have decided not to continue on as a band. Above all, we want to express our sincere gratitude to every single one of you who have supported us. We could not have done any of it without you.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones formed in 1983, releasing thier debut album Devil's Night Out in 1989 and releasing thier major label debut in 1993 with the Ska-Core, the Devil, and More EP. From then til now they have had mainstream hits and underground records that have inspired and changed the landscape of multiple scenes and genres of music. Their latest release is on, Tim Armstrong of Rancids', Hellcat Records, When God Was Great (2021). Which holds thier Single "The Final Parade" with Additional vocals and musicians, such as Tim Armstrong, Aimee Interrupter and many many more.
