Punk Rock Museum coming to Las Vegas?
If Punk Rock Bowling is not enough of a reason to get you to vegas, that, and the history of Vegas and its Benjamin Siegel origins or the Rat Pack days. What about the card games? none of those do it for ya? Well, The Punk Rock Museum @thepunkrockmuseum on instagram may intrigue you to book those plane tickets to Las Vegas. Although there is very little information on the ongoings or the official grand opening of The Punk Rock Museum their social media states "Opening in 2022", but with the last couple years we have had who knows if the open date has been pushed back. Also on the website there is an address posted across the top. "1422 WESTERN AVENUE LAS VEGAS NV".
On the February 15th episode of "Tuna on Toast"the new podcast brought to you by Ted Stryker (formerly of KROQ) Guest Fat Mike of NOFX stated, it's planned to be open summer of 2022. Fat Mike also said this is not corporate ran, but funded by the Artists and Musicians like Fat Mike themselves. With names like Brett Gurietz/Bad Religion/Epitaph, Tim Armstrong/Rancid, Fletcher/Pennywise, Mark Hoppus/Blink 182 (NOT Greenday "They dont want anything to do with it" Fat Mike reports) along with many others behind the project, there is no reason this should not be experienced as soon as this opens. Fat Mike tells Stryker that you will be able to play actual guitars of your favorite musicians through their amps. "You can touch stuff and you get a free beer when you come in". Now with these fun loving podcasts, I like to take everything with a grain of salt, just because the last couple years we are coming off of, plans change real fast. Nevertheless, i'm already planning to be there on opening night! iT would be a huge plus if it was paire
